“Writing Can Be Fun” Portafolio Digital Para Fortalecer La Producción Escrita Del Idioma Inglés En Estudiantes De Grado Noveno

The English language is recognized as the universal language and therefore one of the fundamental pillars of communication in a globalized world.
In the present research, the objective is to improve the skill of writing in English in the ninth graders, since through the teaching work, shortcomings are evident in this communicative ability, taking as a reference the Common European Framework for teaching a second language; For this reason, it is proposed to use ICTs as potentiating tools for the writing process in English.
This is how, through the digital tool Google Sites, a series of interactive activities are created that strengthen the student's different writing practices. For the application, a qualitative methodology was chosen, with a pedagogical action research method. After the pedagogical intervention work in different sessions, the results show that the creation and implementation of the strategies through Google Sites cause positive effects on the writing ability in English in qualified students.
This study allows us to conclude that the design, implementation, and evaluation of the digital tool enabled progress in different limits of writing in English. In this way, the investigative work shows a positive influence of the use of ICT tools, consolidating itself as a valuable contribution to the promotion of writing practices, which favors the learning of the second language.
