Abstract

After having the opportunity to participate in various educational institutions as a
professor and technology integrator and in innovation startups as academic and operations director, I think it is opportune to be able to share some observations, strategies and
relevant data around these experiences that have two important categories: First there are
on the one hand, there are structured and formal learning environments such as schools
and, non-formal environments that have particular characteristics in the learning
development. The reflection does not intend to qualify as better or worse one of the two
scenarios but on the contrary as an important complement in the deployment of STEM
education at a national level.
